Nielson Construction has a proud history of working with its customers in the mining industry, both in initial mine site development and in mine site reclamation. We also provide for our mine customers continuing needs for mine construction and renovation projects. Nielson Construction was lauded for “outstanding environmental awareness” by the Utah Board of Oil, Gas and Mining in April 2006 when the board presented Nielson Construction with its Earth Day Award. Nielson Construction is the only construction company to ever receive such an honor. During the awards presentation Nielson Construction was recognized as having “set a standard of excellence that operators and contractors on other projects seek to emulate.”
